25 Inch Kona Lauhala Pāpale Fedora Style Hat

This 25 Inch Kona Lauhala Papale Fedora Style Hat was made with 1/8 inch mauʻu that were gathered from Māʻona Community Garden and plaited in Hōnaunau, South Kona, Hawaii.  The "string" is kaula ule hala that was also harvested at Māʻona Community Garden and processed/twisted in Hōnaunau.

10% of the gross sales of this pāpale will be donated to Māʻona Community Garden.

Pālua pattern on the crown.  The color is natural medium-dark brown.  Natural (not bleached or dyed) light and medium lauhala items shown for color reference.  This particular lauhala is less pliable, so repeated blocking is not recommended.

4-1/8 inches tall, the brim is 3 inches wide.  All items are shown with natural outdoor afternoon light.  An organic cotton lined felt sweatband is sewn in for comfort. 

Hat only. Lei hulu and other props not included. 

The head size/circumference is 25 inches.
